About Us

We didn’t start Gray Family Farms with a business plan — we started it with a calling.

Out here, life moves by the rhythm of the land. The cows need milking whether it’s raining or blazing hot. The hay has to be cut at just the right time. Chickens need feeding before school lessons begin. The animals depend on us — and our children learn early that food doesn’t come from a shelf, but from stewardship, sacrifice, and daily faithfulness.

Gray Family Farms is a family-run farm rooted in Old Town, Florida, where faith, hard work, and homeschooling all happen side by side. Our days begin with chores and end with tired boots by the door. We raise Jersey dairy cows, a herd of registered Herefords, and commercial beef cattle, all managed with care, intention, and respect for the land. Our chickens free-range and provide eggs as part of the same system that keeps our farm balanced and productive.

We cut our own hay, manage our pastures, and believe that good farming starts long before an animal ever reaches the barn. Healthy soil, proper nutrition, and calm, hands-on care matter — because they shape everything that follows. Our livestock are cared for by people who know them by name and notice when something’s off.

But this farm is about more than animals and agriculture.

It’s about raising children who understand responsibility, patience, and gratitude. It’s about lessons learned in the pasture as much as at the kitchen table. It’s about slowing down in a world that rushes, and honoring the Creator by caring well for His creation.

We believe food should be clean, honest, and local — and that knowing your farmer still matters. Whether you meet us at the farm, a pickup location, or through a simple glass jar exchanged week after week, you’re not just supporting a farm.

You’re becoming part of our story.

This is His land.
We’re just tending the animals.
